"Arthur Simo est né le 22 juillet 1992 à Hialeah, en Floride. Ce jeune peintre autodidacte de 15 ans, plein d’imagination, a un tempérament imprévisible et drôle. Souffrant d’autisme, Arthur a trouvé dans la peinture naïve le moyen d'exprimer ses sentiments, la manière dont il perçoit le monde qui l'entoure. Il emploie le papier, les crayons, les marqueurs et les couleurs à l'eau. Chaque création fait partie de son imagination, chacune d'entre elles raconte une nouvelle histoire. C'est une vision sur un voyage sauvage sans aucune règle ni direction."

This painting is about a life on a shell. This shell is too small for the family because a baby is arriving soon. So mom is going on a journey to find a bigger shell. CREATUR - acq. march 2008
This painting is about a very unique creature. His name is Seawiki. This creature is very powerful because is huge and it can attack from every part of his body. It has many teeth and tentacles to grab you, at the bottom has lots of brown pendals and they have inside an orange seed with a neddle, ready to shoot them, they are deadly. Stay away from SEAWIKI. TWO MEGALODON - march 2008
This painting is about two megalodon swimming up from an abyss. You can see all their babies coming up too. They are attracted to the sunlight and they all are going up. There is a ship trying to catch some fish and they do not know that the entire abyss was open and they will attack the ship. What I write here is what Arthur explains me about his paintings.
STOP - may 2008
This painting is about Arthur vising Bella. They found each other long time ago, when Bella was walking down the mountai looking for a special ingredient she need it, to build a special portion. Well she took Arthur to her place and he was confortable watching tv, when suddenly Bella came in and almost sat on top of Arthur, she forgot all about him. He will sign all his work and he will paint different things everytime because his paintings are part of his feelings and thoughts on a daily basis.
TIKI VILLAGE - acq. may 2008
This painting is about Tiki Village. This is a fairy land that is under attack by Deku the undertaker. The entire village will turned dark if green fairy does not find the travel temple. He will travel to a different place and find the three magic stones, these stones will give the power need it to defeat the undertaker. WILD CAT FOLK - june 2008
This painting is about a wild cat Sylondon, this a very special predator, first because he is from two millions years ago and second he is here in our time. After the bid earthquake, big cracks on the ground were found and Sylondon happen to find a crack that connected his world deep down with ours up in the surface. After walking for days, he found a new and strange land, he was very hungry and tired of eating plants, he found something walking and decided to taste it. Nobody knows where Sylondon will find a home. What I write here is what Arthur explains me about his paintings.

FOUR FEET SPIRITS - july 2008
This painting is about a group named four legs spirits, they go from place to place, destroying and stealing all the women and children, to make them slave. They were going to attack Dalium village, all the man were out on a hunting trip, they must provide food for the village, every year is more difficult to find food, they must find another source of food, otherwise the villager will not survive in the winter. DISCO MUSIC - august 2008
This painting is all about Disco Music and a Discotheque. Arthur came about the idea when one day I was telling him that on my youth I used to dance disco and explained to him how the dancing floor and the music was back them. He was so amazed that when we got home, he had an idea and show me the way I described him my disco dancing discotheque. Lots of lights, smoke on the dancing floor with confetti and a great music, you can feel the colors and happiness everywhere. What I write here is what Arthur explains me about his paintings.
SPECIAL SUIT - august 2008
This painting is about a special suit use to protect man. On a far away land, a goverment is experimenting with animals and they want to create the perfect creature with great strenth and power. These creatures are very wild and none of the experiment are given an ideal animal. This special suit is prepare to hold any wild animal, but this last suit was almost broken into pieces and you can see all the teeth and horn hanging on the suit, everytime the creature get stronger. HOMELESS - september 2008
This painting is about this poor woman sleeping on the sidewalk, she lost her job and her house, she has not family and she has to sleep on the streets. She use newspaper to cover herself and only a few people will help with some coins, because people blame her to be on the street and not the goverment. MY ANGEL - october 2008
This painting is about My Angel, well this angel is always with me since I was borned. He takes care of me every minute of the day. I love my angel and when I get sick, he is always carrying me and he brings other angels to help, so I can get better soon. It is a good feeling to know that someone is with you all the time. THE DIVERS - october 2008
This painting is about a diver and a group of friends going under water to find corals, rocks and any interesting things under water. They were very excited collecting and did not realized that a very dangerous place was close, full of carnivorous plants, This plants will extend their hair and will secrete a sweet odor to attack their victims and when they are close, the hairs will pull them inside huge trees and they will absorb all their juices, if they do not come back soon, they will be trapped. THE GOLDEN AREA - december 2008
. This painting is about a nice neighborhood called the golden area. It is a very colorful one and there is one man living on a mansion. Years ago he made a deal with the owner of a fast food restaurant and for each hamburger that he ate, he will get a dollar. Time pass and now this man is very old and very rich collecting the dollars of all his lifetime hamburgers. What I write here is what Arthur explains me about his paintings.
